**Job Description**

South32 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Supervisor to join our team. As a leader in the mining industry, we are committed to safety, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of our operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise and lead ancillary/dozer mining crews to safely execute daily and weekly plans
  • Provide leadership through workplace interactions and ensure adherence to procedures
  • Manage people processes, including leave, performance, and disciplinary actions
  • Collaborate with maintenance and support services to drive safety and operational efficiency

**Requirements:**

  • Strong mining industry experience with knowledge of open-cut methods and legislation
  • Proven ability to select, develop, and mentor employees for enhanced engagement and diversity
  • Positive role model and supportive leader, effectively supervising large teams
  • Understanding safety, health, and risk management frameworks, with an improvement mindset
  • Prior experience in pumps operations and strategies highly regarded
