Our Client is a Financial Services Firm looking for a proactive events lead for a six month contract for their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead regional event initiatives by collaborating with lines of business, marketing, and functions to develop impactful programs aligned with business strategy.
- Monitor event budgets for cost efficiency and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Oversee the entire event planning process, from initial briefs to post-event analysis, including research, approvals, attendee and speaker management, venue coordination, design, onsite support, production management, budgeting, and analysis.
- Handle corporate hospitality and ticketing, liaising with ticketing vendors and maintaining accurate records through a global ticketing portal for audit purposes.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and venues, ensuring smooth execution of all event-related matters.
- Support the global franchise sponsorships and cross-business line events, ensuring benefits are maximized and events are flawlessly executed.
- Maintain an accurate Events database, including metrics, budgets, invoicing, ticketing, and event collateral.
- Ideally holds a degree in Events, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, capable of leading events from start to finish.
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management/execution, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Exhibits client-focused, highly organized, and process-oriented traits, able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Is willing to work occasional after-hours and travel within the region as needed.
