**Job Description**:
Key Role Criteria - PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Provide strategic, unbiased and objective business advisory services on projects by delivering high quality and profitable consulting services to new and existing clients.

Principals typically work in or lead (Engagement Lead) teams of 3 to 6 Consultants to identify and implement bespoke solutions for specific client problems, to enable long-term sustainable change to the client's performance and objectives.

In each project, in collaboration with the project team, the Principal will gather and diagnose information, formulate and test hypothesis and develop recommendations. Together with the project team, the Principal presents those recommended solutions to the client.

Principal Consultants must be extremely motivated, have high level conceptual ability, present well, be comfortable operating and delivering in an unstructured environment, and be able to work both autonomously and within project teams.

Principal Consultants must have a strong interest in strategy, organisational design and improving the way businesses and their people operate.

A strong capability to communicate and convey complex topics in a simple manner whilst building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Project management of consulting engagements including, scoping, scheduling, resource management, budgeting and client engagement.
- Working effectively in a team and leading small teams of others to provide strategic, unbiased and objective advisory services on consulting projects by delivering high quality and profitable consulting services to new and existing clients.
- Identifying and discussing business and organisational issues with clients and formulating solutions to those issues.
- Analysing and evaluating business systems across organisations, discussing systems with team members, recording and analysing work flow charts, records, reports, manuals, systems and processes. Prepare solutions and improvements to those systems including directing clients to more efficient operating models.
- Project management, including direction and work flow management of the project team. Provide leadership and direction to the project team.
- Prepare written reports and proposals to revise procedures and operating models.
- Identify business development opportunities and achieve with current and prospective clients opportunities for follow on sales.

Participating and contributing to Cyient Consulting brand development, intellectual property and internal and external stakeholder management.
