Education Manager

We are seeking an experienced clinical nursing educator to lead and manage the Epworth Mental Health and Rehabilitation Education Team. The Education Manager Mental Health and Rehabilitation will be required to promote a learning culture and ensure education and clinical support provided is underpinned by a comprehensive quality improvement framework and evidence-based practice in order to meet the ongoing development needs and grow the future workforce.

As our Education Manager, reporting to the Group Director of Education & Learning, you will lead the education department in the planning and implementation of a broad range of education programs, to support the high standard delivery of quality clinical patient care and service.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- A minimum of 5 years nursing education experience
- An understanding of professional nursing competency standards, code of practice and professional nursing trends
- Demonstrated success in development and implementing programs based on adult learning principles
- Experience in managing and evaluating educational programs or services
- A track record of effective people management
- The ability to impart knowledge and be receptive to new ideas and practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate individuals and teams through coaching and positive role modelling
- Consultative and respectful leadership skills and a proven ability to negotiate and influence
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people
