**Your day to day**
As Guest Relations Manager you will become our host, welcoming our guests and being their main point of contact throughout their stay to ensure our guest is felt welcome and uniquely looked after. Your role will be to curate our guests experience. Working with our reservations team, you will take information from incoming reservations and plan the guest experience. Working with our front desk team you will be on the floor, not behind the front desk, but in our lobby welcoming our guests and creating memorable experience. You will be our main conduit for loyalty recognition by welcoming our IHG Rewards guests & using recognition science to provide them with unique experiences. You will also train and lead our team towards a proper implementation of welcoming our guests. Ultimately you will be responsible for ensuring superior branded guest experience and compliance with quality and operational standards before, during, and post stay. You maybe from time to time be required to step in and assist the front desk operation.
**What we need from you**:

- Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration, plus 2years of Front Office/Guest Service experience including supervisory & reservations experience. - Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to. - Your problem solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guests leaves with great memories. - Flexibility
- night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job. - Strong - sometimes you'll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs. - Literate - you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, & basic maths. - Tech-Savvy - you'll be familiar with Opera or a similar Property Management System - Fluency in English - extra language skills would be great, but not essential. - You must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia
