Advanced Aqua Blasting offers a diverse range of services in abrasive blasting and protective coatings, including Denso corrosion protection and water blasting, throughout the North Queensland region.We are currently looking for an Industrial Spray Painter to join our organisation.Position SummaryThe ideal candidate should have knowledge of abrasive blasting and industrial protective coatings.
They must be able to perform and complete allocated tasks to a high-quality standard.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Demonstrate knowledge in using abrasive blasting and painting equipment, and ensure all equipment is operational.Prepare surfaces for blasting and painting, perform the tasks to a high standard, and ensure surface cleanliness and quality.Follow instructions safely and efficiently while complying with Workplace Health and Safety (WPH&S) requirements.Accurately complete job cards, follow procedures, and complete other necessary paperwork.Understand paint specifications and carry out jobs to the required standards.Maintain cleanliness of the job site.Assist other team members when necessary.Qualifications and Skill Set:Relevant trade qualifications are preferred but not essential.At least 2 years of experience as an abrasive blaster and/or painter is highly desirable.Experience with airless spray painting is preferred.Must hold a current driver's licenceMust hold a Current Construction Industry Blue or White CardAbility to obtain/Current Forklift Licence and EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence.Current Confined Space and Working at Heights training or willing to undertake the trainingExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Salary: $75,000 to $100,000 annuallyApply now and become part of our growing team
