A high profile, end user organization with significant capital reserves have appointed us to search and select a client-side Design Manager for their Capital Projects Planning & Feasibility team. This high performing Perth based operational facility has a capital project spend of up to $200m/year across a large variety of building and infrastructure projects from $100k - 1bn.

**Role**: The Design Manager will working in the Planning and Feasibility team who take projects from an idea, through concept design to schematic design and a preferred solution where the project is then handed over to the delivery team. This blue chip facility is known for their funky building and infrastructure projects using cutting edge technology and renewables in a rewarding environment where all ideas are supported, providing the staff great job satisfaction. This is a self-managing role where work-life balance is encouraged, often enforced

Minimum
**criteria** for the Design Manager:

- 8+ years experience in a design or design coordination role
- 5+ years experience in commercial building / infrastructure
- Employment longevity served as either an Architectural Technician, Architect, Structural Engineer, Design Consultant or Design Coordinator and ready for the step up to Design Manager
- Ability to write scopes and briefs and then manage the consultants outputs knowing the level of detail required
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Tertiary qualified in architecture, engineering or construction management
- The right to work in Australia
- Perth based or enroute
