Queensland Bulk Handling (QBH) is seeking a Store Person to join our team to provide effective smooth delivery of the daily store activities at Queensland Bulk Handling.This is a full time, permanent position based on site at the Port of Brisbane.About Us QBH is Brisbane's leading bulk handling facility, wholly owned by New Hope Group.
Commissioned in 1983, the facility has a reputation as a bulk handling export terminal with an excellent safety record.
Located at the Port of Brisbane, you'll become part of a dedicated team committed to excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving incoming stock and dispatching outgoing items.Manage outstanding purchase ordersMaintain records in the computer-based stores and purchasing systemsUndertake stock takes, audits and checksMaintain a high level of housekeeping within the store and store yard areasRoutine identification and implementation of improvement initiatives in proceduresAbout youCurrent C Class Drivers LicenceCurrent Forklift Operator TicketPrevious experience in a store environment preferredManual handling skills and experienceExperience in computer operation and working knowledge of computer-based stores and purchasing systemsWhatwe offerMon-Fri RosterCompetitive salary packagePaid parental leave for both primary and secondary carergiversSubsidised health insuranceSupportive team environment fostering job satisfactionIf you meet the above criteria, we really want to hear from you
