A true vacancy exists for a permanent AO7 position supporting a thriving hospital and health service.

The West Moreton Health Communication & Engagement team is responsible for the hospital and health service's external and internal communications, digital channel management and design services.
As the team's Digital Engagement Manager, you will oversee two digital and design officers and work alongside the communication team. Working closely with the Media and Communication Manager, you will deliver creative digital and design solutions that support the organisation's strategic goals.
You will also lead the digital migration of our website to the Queensland Health content management system.
Experienced web developers, UX specialists and content designers with a great attitude and flair for design are encouraged to apply.

**Some of the role's other responsibilities include**:

- developing and executing West Moreton Health's digital engagement, online content and social media strategy through engagement with key stakeholders and in line with the health service's strategic priorities.
- planning and overseeing delivery of West Moreton Health's ongoing website and intranet development.
- ensuring West Moreton Health is kept up to date with major trends, developments and opportunities in digital engagement.
- mentoring, managing and coaching digital engagement, web and graphic design team members.
- managing and developing West Moreton Health branding strategies.
- contributing to the planning and delivery of projects by the broader Communications and Engagement team as required.
- maintaining a safe workplace that values the health, wellbeing and safety of co-workers, clients and visitors.
- maintaining a culture where staff are vigilant to risks to themselves, their co-workers, clients and visitors (including health and safety, business and operational risks).
- participating in the health service 1:1 conversation process.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
