About the roleQueensland X-Ray is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join us as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in our dynamic Nursing Team in the Gold Coast Region.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced medical imaging environment where nursing expertise is recognised and continually developed.
The position is Monday to Friday (7.6-hour shifts), with participation in Saturday, weekend, and on-call rotations in line with service requirements.As an ANUM, you will work both independently and collaboratively to deliver safe, patient-centred care across a broad range of imaging and interventional procedures.
You will provide day-to-day leadership and clinical guidance, supporting the NUM and stepping into the Nurse in Charge role in their absence.
Candidates with a minimum of five years' medical imaging experience, including demonstrated leadership capability, will be strongly considered.About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum five years' post-graduate nursing experience in Medical Imaging Evidence of completion of a recognised leadership course Demonstrated IV cannulation competency (essential) Ultrasound-guided IV cannulation experience (desirable) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (desirable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, high-volume environment Excellent time management and clinical decision-making under pressure A team-focused, compassionate approach to patient care A genuine interest in medical imaging and a passion for service excellence What we offer A welcoming and supportive culture Annual Professional Development Allowance Sonic Healthcare Radiology Conference Attendance Internal L&D workshops and events Great earning potential with strong rates and annual reviews 5 weeks Annual Leave with 17.5% leave loading Paid parental leave and salary packaging Committed to health and well-being, including access to an Employee Assistance Program Reward and Recognition Points System - we like to celebrate success
