**The role**:
The Customer Connections group at South East Water facilitates the connection of customers to our water and sewer networks while ensuring the integrity of our assets. The Pressure Sewer team is responsible for inbound and outbound calls to drive sales, developing agreements and scheduling the installation of pressure sewer systems for customers within South East Water's area.

Following a recent restructure, we have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to oversee the customer and administrative functions within the Pressure Sewer team. This role offers the chance to develop a new customer-focused team including training, providing technical support, and setting sales targets. The successful applicant will also ensure that new connections processes meet our standards and are compliant with regulatory requirements.

Working closely with other South East Water teams and principal contractors you will develop and maintain strong relationships while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment to ensure a positive impact to customers connecting to our pressure sewer network.

**Who are you?**:
Your sound leadership capabilities and supportive approach will be crucial to your success, and a background in utilities or sales will be highly advantageous. Along with a result focussed mindset and drive for delivering excellent customer service you will also be able to demonstrate:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role with a focus on managing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder networking abilities coupled with strong negotiation skills.
- Experience with achieving results through planning and activity in sales and marketing.
- Experience in developing & delivering budgeted sales, forecasting sales growth, and preparing financial sales reports.
- Strong analytical and computer proficiency, encompassing skills in MS Word and Excel
- Proficiency in handling and resolving escalations.
- Ability to analyse and develop ways of improving work procedures and processes.
- Ability to identify new opportunities and aid in the development of a logical business case for implementation.
