**Primary Purpose of the Position**: The Sustainability Consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality carbon-related projects for clients, focusing on areas such as carbon foot printing, target-setting, mitigation analysis, and strategy development. The role involves analytical work, preparation of project deliverables and proposals, project management, key account management, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the team.

**Qualifications/Certifications**:

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Develop technical expertise in emissions modelling and carbon foot printing for organisations, councils, and communities.
- Creating Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), managing certifications and ratings, supporting sales teams and customers, and facilitating training sessions for staff on product lifecycle impacts.
- Gain knowledge of corporate greenhouse gas emissions reporting and target-setting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, Science-Based Targets Initiative).
- Provide project management and delivery across various sustainability projects.
- Demonstrate excellent report writing and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Build strong networks in the sustainability and carbon space.
- Engage with client organisations and further existing knowledge of carbon reduction initiatives.
- Develop an understanding of the broader global, Australian, and industry-specific carbon context.
