We are looking for a talented Sustainability Consultant to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager of our Enviro team, you will develop and implement the sustainability strategy across the business and build a team to increase FSC's professional services offering in the sustainability sector.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute the sustainability strategy and sustainability reporting for the whole of business
- Drive a culture of contemporary thinking and sustainability best practice to address the needs of our customers and communities
- Be an advocate in the business for the cultural pillars and values of the company
- Build and continue to grow and develop a team of sustainability and environmental professionals
- Grow the sustainability offering of FSC, including overseeing business development, bidding and project delivery

- Lead FSC's sustainability team serving government and private clients
- Work with other FSC leaders to shape and grow the capacity of the team
- Mentor and develop the team to help them achieve their goals
- Create an industry leading technical advisory service in the sustainability space
- Drive business development and growing our client base
- Recruit and grow the team and their capabilities
- Be part of growing a new type of consulting business collaboratively
- Innovate new ways of working to provide practical outcomes to our clients

**About You**

We are looking for technical skill, cultural fit and diversity of thought. To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated sustainability experience in major transport infrastructure projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - have a deep care for those you work with
- A recognised Environmental Engineering / Science degree, or equivalent
- A strong analytical mind, attention to detail with a systems and governance mindset
- Enjoy being creative and thinking of new ways of doing things
- Understanding of sustainability rating schemes and standards
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing sustainability strategy
- Like to have fun at work
