THE ROLE
Situated in the Placement Support Planning Team, in South Division, this innovative fixed term position will drive positive changes and enhance the life outcomes for children and young people across each of the 4 Areas for Department of Families Fairness and Housing. As the Kinship Engagement Team Leader you will work under the new model of kinship care that rolled out across Victoria in March 2018 and be responsible for overseeing and supervising a team of both area based and investigation and response Kinship Engagement Coordinators who are responsible for the operation and oversite of the broader KET team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
*
- Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Provide advice and professional expertise to key internal and external stakeholders in areas of responsibility including critical policy, funding, and program development.
- Contribute to service development and implementation of new initiatives and policy.
