Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our Kinship Care program. As an innovative leader, you will support carers in providing the best possible care to children living in kinship care.

Our Kinship Care services support extended family members or friends who care for children when their parents are unable to do so. The team delivers case management and case work service to statutory kinship care placements.

Your role will involve supervising a team of Case Managers, monitoring workloads and individual performance, and providing continuous quality improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a sophisticated understanding of inter-generational factors and the complexity of the kinship care system. You must also have experience providing supervision and making timely decisions about interventions required.

You will be working with high-risk adolescents and their families. A Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology or another relevant field is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering the Kinship Care service, including contract compliance and program performance

Required Skills and Qualifications
