Discovery Bay Early Learning and Kindergarten Croydon follows the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori, where, Montessori principles are embedded in our day-to-day engagements. The Montessori philosophy and inquiry-based learning in STEM, naturally complement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

It takes a special kind of person to dedicate the time and attention to children that our methodology requires. They must be willing to give children the space they need to make their own discoveries; to guide them where to look, but not what to see. It's our mission to develop your little ones into confident and enthusiastic explorers of the world around them.

Is this you?
- Fully Qualified Early Childhood Educator with a minimum of 12 months working experience in a LDC setting. **Experience working with Montessori and STEM is preferred, though not essential** Available full time, Monday to Friday on a rotating rosterbetween the hours of 7am and 6pm **Proven understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards**

Must haves:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care **Minimum 12 months experience working in a LDC environment** Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development principles and practices **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills** Current WWCC **Up to date First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporting, All About Allergens, Asthma, Anaphylaxis Management, Do food safely and SunSmart Certificates** National Police Check
- no older than 3 months when starting the position **Minimum of 2 professional referees
- must be / have beena supervisor or manager**

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
