**Your role**

As a member of the ICT team, the IT Service Desk Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting our organisation's IT infrastructure by providing efficient and effective technical assistance to internal users.

Reporting to the Team Leader, IT Service Desk, this entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in IT support while contributing to the smooth operation of our technology systems.

**What you do**
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations. Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service for users.
- Display customer service-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Incident Management: Log and prioritise support requests using our ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as necessary and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members to address technical challenges and improve IT service delivery. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies and IT trends through self-study and training opportunities. Actively seek to enhance technical skills and knowledge to improve job performance.

**Who you work with**

Under the direction of the IT Service Desk Team Leader, you will be working with our service providers, liaising to maintain service delivery standards for business operations. Working under the guidance and direction of the IT Service Desk Team Leader, there will be training and up-skilling, planning and maintenance of the ICT operating environment.

**About you**
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and common productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to recognise, analyse and effectively solve problems in a timely and organised manner using industry best practices
- High level of verbal and written communications including demonstrated experience developing technical documentation and manuals
- Demonstrated ability to identify and improve processes and procedures
- Proven ability to work successfully either independently or in a team environment, provide advice, prioritise activities, undertake multiple tasks and consistently achieve outcomes within strict timelines.
- Understanding of IT operating models and service frameworks, including the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Basic understanding of IT concepts such as networking, operating systems, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and common productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
