**About the role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our positive and dedicated Cleansing Early start team.

The position is responsible for driving a Compactor truck or other vehicle and systematically emptying Council public waste bines in the public domain including in Parks, Reserves and other areas throughout the city area to ensure a clean and healthy local environment. On a daily basis, you will work as part of a team to:

- Maintain and clean waste bin and bin surrounds and report any additional works which may be necessary to the relevant supervisor
- Litter pick and/or sweep as required the immediate area (approximately 1m2) in the vicinity of bins in small shopping centres and parks
- Dispose of garbage at the appropriate waste facility
- Plan and organise resources to ensure that the work undertaken is maximised
- Set goals for allocated tasks to complete a program of works within budget, time and acceptable levels of quality and that achievements are communicated with the appropriate supervisor
- Solve problems and make decisions within delegated authority to ensure cost effective targets are achieved.

**About You**
- A current NSW MR Drivers Licence
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Proven customer service skills
- Sound capacity to adapt to changing priorities

**What's on offer**
We are offering an attractive remuneration package from $63,711.57 to $70,158.19 (Includes Salary + Super). 20% Loading applies for hours worked prior to 6am.
