We have 1 permanent full-time opportunity available working on our early morning shift Monday-Friday 2:30am- 11:30am.Duties will include:Undertaking a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services Team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.Operate a variety of plant including garbage compactors.Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.About YouWe are looking for someone with:Current MR Drivers LicenseWhite CardPrevious experience in the safe operation and maintenance of waste compactorsWillingness to adapt and manage priorities.Ability to provide a great customer experience for our community.What's on offer:We are offering a remuneration of $65,814 plus 12% superannuation.This position may attract additional shift penalties and allowance in accordance with the Local Government Award 2023.At City of Parramatta, we have great learning and development opportunities that you will have access to, to assist you with your career development goals.In addition, City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which include:Free onsite parking & onsite gym9-Day FortnightUniform provided14 weeks paid parental leaveAccess to Long Service Leave after 5 yearsSignificant leave benefits (up to 12 rostered days off, 3 additional leave days at Christmas, 15 days sick/personal leave including 2 days health and wellbeing leave per year)Learning and Development opportunitiesHealth and Wellbeing programs (Fitness Passport, Flu Shots)Want to know more?
