Job Description

We are seeking an experienced compactor operator to join our team responsible for maintaining and improving the appearance of public spaces.

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services Team, including operating a range of plant including garbage compactors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of plant including garbage compactors.
  • Undertake a range of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services Team.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed to assist other teams and operational areas.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A current MR Drivers License.
  • A White Card.
  • Previous experience in the safe operation and maintenance of waste compactors.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide a great customer experience.

This is a permanent full-time position working on an early morning shift, Monday to Friday from 2:30am to 11:30am.
