Provide trusted tax advisory and compliance services to Origin and APLNG by operating as a business partner and technical income tax advisor for commercial and finance teams.
">
Manage tax structuring and due diligence for M&A, divestments, and corporate restructures under the guidance of the Senior Manager and/or Head of Tax.
">
Assist with tax compliance deliverables, including income tax returns, PAYG instalments, and R&D tax incentive claims.
">
Support tax effect accounting (TEA) processes for financial reporting, including deferred tax and provisioning.
">
Liaise with external tax advisors and service providers to ensure compliance obligations are met effectively.
">

Key Requirements:
">
">
Minimum 5–7 years' experience in Australian corporate income tax, with exposure to tax compliance and advisory within a large corporate environment and/or Big 4 firm.
">
Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Law, with relevant professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent).
">
Demonstrated experience advising on M&A transactions, due diligence, contract negotiations, and complex income tax issues.
