  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex corporate income tax calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and timely lodgement of corporate income tax returns, Business Activity Statements (BAS), payroll tax returns, and income tax instalment statements.
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance with Australian tax legislation by ensuring accurate filings across direct and indirect tax obligations.
  • Liaise effectively with external tax advisors and auditors to support statutory and regulatory tax requirements.
  • Prepare detailed workpapers and maintain comprehensive documentation to support all tax positions taken by the business.
  • Monitor changes in Australian tax law and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.
