Senior Consultant Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our market leading tax practice in our Corporate Tax team. This role involves working across multiple projects and clients, both autonomously and as a valued member of our team.

The role entails providing advice on corporate tax matters including M&A, consolidations, restructures, financing and assisting clients to meet their corporate tax compliance obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver the provision of taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, including corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
  • To assist in the delivery of the full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • To be a point of contact for our clients, requiring collaboration with specialist teams in bringing expertise to our corporate clients.
  • To supervise junior team members, fostering their learning and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration and celebrates successes.

Requirements:

  • Australian corporate income tax experience, ideally gained in a top tier accounting firm, mid-tier accounting firm or corporate business experience.
  • Developing client-facing skills with confidence to contribute to client meetings and build a network.
  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations to clients.
