**Job Description**:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Group by sourcing and driving corporate, government, MICE and leisure accounts and occupancy. This involves the implementation of overall group strategies in a manner that maximizes occupancy and revenue for properties allocated and the Group as a whole.
Responsible for accounts held in NSW along with being responsible for maximising profitability and ensuring delivery of quality service to all guests the Regional Sales Manager - NSW is accountable for Room Revenue and Catering and Events' Revenues.

**Utilise your flare for sales and Business Development in this highly rewarding opportunity. To be successful you will require the following skills, experience and proven abilities**:
- Demonstrated experience in a Business Development Manager role within the tourism / hospitality industry
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to strategic plan, organise and carry out functions efficiently
- Assist with the development of the Sales Plan in conjunction with the Director of Field Sales annually
- The ability to consider business trends, market conditions and tourism forecasts
- Analyse sales mix and potential markets for the properties allocated.
- Display a friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation
- A proven track record of increasing sales, business development and closing sales
- The ability to develop relationships with potential clientele and maintain
- A passion for and commitment to delivering exceptional, pro-active service
- Maintaining a comprehensive level of product knowledge and actively sell all attributes of the Minor Group including conference facilities and food and beverage features
- Enjoy working independently and as part of an energetic, hands-on team
- The ability to maintain up to date awareness of market rates including local competitors
- Develop and maintain contact with MICE, government, corporate clients and agencies with face to face or telephone contact to maximize all business opportunities
- Attend trade shows and industry functions as directed by Director of Field Sales and ensure a high profile for each property
- Reporting and updating management on a weekly basis and attending weekly team meetings
