Farnorha, located in Cairins QLD, our Home offers all levels of permanent, respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.About The OpportunityAs the Care Manager, your responsibilities will expand across clinical governance, staff management, AN-ACC and resident care.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all residentsDeveloping, monitoring and implementing nurse care plans + assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plansPerforming comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidentsParticipating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Allity policies and proceduresActively supervising, training and mentoring all RNs and PCWsAbout YouThe successful candidate must meet the following criteria:Ability to work full time- Monday-FridayExperience as an Aged Care Manager/ CoordinatorDemonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes, and AN-ACCPersonal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care, the development of yourself and your staff, and the overall continuous improvement of your siteSolid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsNDIS screen checkCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseCurrent flu and COVID Vaccinations (mandatory)What We Can OfferSalary packaging options and tax benefits for Not for ProfitOngoing Training and CoachingA range of employee benefits & discountsEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer pathwaysBring your passion for quality care and in return, we will provide you with an opportunity to build an outstanding career by expanding and developing your skills.Our residential aged care communities are supported by specialised teams who care deeply about our residents' individual needs.
