**About the role**:
The Operations Support Leader is accountable for ensuring the right foundations are in place across our store network to enable operational best practice, meet compliance obligations and achieve sustainable growth.
This role supports our Area Leaders and works closely with the Operations Optimisation Manager and the wider business functional areas to ensure the right processes, systems, tools, and resources are in place to consistently meet and exceed our compliance and auditing standards. With well-developed business knowledge and a passion for excellence, this person brings an ability to launch, execute and embed national operations initiative. Whilst this role is primarily based in local stores, extensive travel interstate and across sites is a requirement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record running successful retail stores with a minimum of 5 years retail leadership experience.
- Highly developed written and oral communication & presentation skills
- Ability to translate national standards/initiatives into actionable plans for local stores
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and problem resolution skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Results & solutions oriented
- Collaborative approach with ability to train and coach store teams to succeed
- Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing capability
- Ability to reset priorities based on store and business needs
- Enthusiasm, passion and commitment to operational excellence and the Fantastic Furniture brand
- Change agility with ability to pivot to changing business needs
- Comfortable to provide feedback and develop others
- Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality in all situations
- Willingness to travel interstate/nationally as required
