**Think Youi**
From day one, Youi has set out to do things differently. To be a 'challenger' within the insurance category by positioning ourselves as a fresh alternative for consumers. We've worked hard to build a strong brand and an agile and innovative culture. Our unwavering commitment to our people (1,700 across three countries) and being a great company to work for is key to our success. Our company values are easy to explain - we are dynamic, human, honest, passionate about providing awesome service to our customers and we recognise our people for their contribution to our culture and success.
**About the role**:
Reporting into the Head of Talent & People Services and working closely with our HRBPs and peer level HR specialists, you will ensure that Youi's remuneration practices support business, cultural, legislative and customer objectives. The remuneration strategy has been set and you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the group wide remuneration and benefits programs along with managing companywide remuneration programs and cyclical activities. This position is an implementation and "doing" role with many opportunities to streamline and improve the execution of remuneration practices and to bring ideas on fit-for-purpose remuneration programs.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Refine, monitor (and develop where needed) remuneration strategy, policies and guidelines.
- Manage the cyclical activities e.g. annual remuneration review, incentive programs, market matching/pricing, and superannuation offering.
- Collaborate with your HR colleagues, legal and finance to prepare Committee papers for the Executive and Board
- Research evolving and contemporary remuneration practices in the marketplace and provide guidance to the Executive and Board on design and development of broad-based compensation programs including fixed pay, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, benefits and superannuation etc.
- Advise and partner with HR and organisational leaders on remuneration and benefit program rollouts.
**About you**:
You are a unique individual - someone who brings with them not only technical skills, but a passion for supporting and guiding an organisation on their remuneration and benefits journey. Someone who is equally comfortable in rolling up their sleeves to get the basics done, while thinking strategically and influencing positive change at all levels of the organisation. Tertiary qualified and experience within general insurance or financial services, you are a seasoned, commercial remuneration and benefits specialist who wants to own the function. You have knowledge and expertise on compensation trends, changes and laws within Australia and New Zealand coupled with analytical, consulting, communication and presentation skills that are second to none. You will be someone who enjoys being self-directed and working autonomously but still gets a kick out of collaborating with colleagues and teamwork.
**What's in it for you**:
At Youi, we believe that coming to work should be fun. We pride ourselves on an awesome culture and working environment, experienced through our smart casual dress code, award-winning health and wellbeing program, birthday and volunteer leave, training and development opportunities, autonomous and flexible ways of working and culture of high-performancejust to name a few benefits.
