Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Lendlease Full time

Audit Manager - two roles (permanent and fixed-term contract available)

We are currently seeking two highly motivated individuals to join the Australian arm of our Global Internal Audit team as Audit Manager. We have a permanent position and 18 month fixed-term contract position available.

Based at our head office in Barangaroo, you will join a dedicated and multi-disciplined team, to provide independent, objective assurance across Lendlease operations. The team seeks to add value and recommend improvements in all our audits. This role presents a unique career development and growth opportunity.

As Audit Manager you will gain exposure across the entire Lendlease Group dealing with all components of Australian operations which involve a diverse range of areas. These include areas such as review of Business Units including their projects and developments, system implementations or upgrades, new business initiatives, support functions and integrity reviews. This unrivalled job variety will see you working across activities ranging from project sites through to meeting with C-Suite executives.

The primary purpose of the Internal Audit Manager role is to perform the planning and delivery of audit assignments as well as assist with strategic initiatives of the function. The role reports to the Head of Internal Audit, Australia and involves close interaction with the Australian and Global audit teams.

To see success in this role, you will benefit from bringing a diverse range of experience, a hunger to learn and share knowledge, while being able to confidently deal with a variety of stakeholders, including engagement with senior executives on a day-to-day basis. The ability to demonstrate in-depth experience in areas such as risk & controls, operational management, safety or commercial management will be highly valued. While prior audit experience is an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite for the role.

At Lendlease we offer workplaces that unite diverse minds; where respect, equitable treatment and equitable opportunity are just the norm. We remain committed to supporting under-represented groups and providing a wide range of inclusion initiatives, so that everyone is supported to thrive.

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is reflected in our Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan, our Bronze Award with the Australian Workplace Equality Index by Pride in Diversity, and our generous parental leave policy of 26 weeks to any parent regardless of gender.
