**About the role**:
The Internal Audit Manager is a full time, permanent position, based at our North Ryde Office. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be ensuring CSR operates an effective internal control environment through delivery of the internal audit plan, key improvement projects & incident investigation.
You are a critical thinker, an advisor that will capitalise your astute influencing skills with the executive level stakeholders across the business & to our external auditing group, quickly developing credibility through technical and commercial acumen and natural gravitas who is always comfortable challenging the status quo.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and articulate the annual internal audit plan, in conjunction with the outsourced internal audit provider and the CSR senior leadership team (including executive leadership team)
- Manage delivery of annual internal audit plans, within budget and communicate compliance to the plans with ELT
- Project manage internal audit process with both the outsourced provider and internal stakeholders
- Objectively review and recommend actions to improve business processes
- Manage and monitor completion of corrective actions arising from internal audits, including provision of practical advice and support to key business unit stakeholders
- Own the delivery of audit projects/objectives, scope, findings, risks and recommendations to relevant stakeholders through written reports and oral presentations, including to CSR executives and the CSR Risk and Audit Committee
- Lead implementation and drive improvement in CSR processes and controls
- Lead the review of existing control self-assessment processes with an objective of providing recommendations that are 'fit-for-purpose', while also enhancing CSR's overall control environment
- Systematically manage content updates to ensure it reflects the status and key risks across the CSR business
- Monitor and drive compliance across the organisation
- Complete and report of incident investigations

**About you**:

- Minimum 10 years' audit experience
- Proven project management capability
- Hold CPA/CA qualification
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including board reporting
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong business and analytical skills to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities.
