About the Role We're looking for experienced Support Workers to support clients in 24/7 care in the Outer suburbs of Melbourne - from Clyde to Berwick.
You'll support clients 1:1 who feel most comfortable with clear boundaries, structured routines, and clear communication.
You'll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding.
A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you'll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.
No two days are the same
Your support might look like: Supporting with personal care tasks like showering, toileting and dressing Assisting with manual handling and mobility needs, including safe transfers and use of equipment Getting out into the community to do activities the clients enjoy Helping prepare simple, nutritious meals Helping out with a few light cleaning jobs around the home when needed Assist with medication management There are a range of available shifts - mornings, afternoons and overnight shifts.
