SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for an experienced Transaction Monitoring Specialist to join our Finance Crime team.

**About the opportunity**

SkyCity Adelaide is looking for a Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring (TM) Specialist to refine its financial crime detection systems. In this role, you will design and enhance monitoring rules, perform scenario tuning, conduct post-implementation testing, and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll contribute to framework optimisation, rule mapping, and procedural documentation to improve risk detection and operational efficiency.

Your role will be central to strengthening SkyCity Adelaide's financial crime monitoring capabilities, ensuring systems operate effectively, produce reliable alerts, and withstand regulatory scrutiny. Join us in driving continuous improvement and safeguarding against financial crime risks.

**About You**

With at least three years of experience in transaction monitoring within the financial services or gaming industry, you have a strong grasp of AML/CTF regulations, financial crime technology, and SQL. You excel in designing, tuning, and testing monitoring rules to ensure accurate risk detection while minimising false positives. Your expertise in data governance, stakeholder management, and technology deployments enables you to balance compliance, operational efficiency, and commercial priorities.

You have hands-on experience in framework architecture reviews, threshold tuning, and implementing detection logic. Your ability to write and execute SQL testing, analyse data, and document technical processes ensures transparency and regulatory alignment. Known for your structured approach, you turn intelligence insights into effective monitoring solutions that strengthen financial crime defences.
