**THE ROLE**

We are seeking an experienced **Contracts Manager **to join the Western Region Delivery Team on this long term frameworks contract (10-year construction project pipeline, circa $2bn) in western Sydney.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will be a permanent staff appointment to the team overseeing the procurement and downstream pre/post contract management function for concurrent water infrastructure, and utilities projects across the western suburbs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management of procurement/contracts team
- Responsible for procurement downstream contract management
- Subletting of trade packages, preparation of scope of work, negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers and preparation and maintenance of procurement schedules and relevant reporting
- Negotiation of supplier/subcontract agreements using NEC4 templates
- Administration and Management of downstream contracts
- Assist with cost reporting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with JV/Parent company policies and legislative requirements
- Finalisation of subcontract accounts
- Stakeholder Management

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a standalone Contract Manager on large scale projects.
- Will show strong career longevity on resume working on multi-million-dollar projects
- Strong experience with negotiation and the letting of contracts and procurement
- An ability to work autonomously
- Experience managing a team of CA's with varying skillset
- Will have worked for a reputable Tier 1 constructor
- Bachelor of Construction Management/Quantity Surveying
- Knowledge and experience of large, complex civil/M&E infrastructure projects such Water Treatment Plants, Pipelines and other Linear Infrastructure, Pumping Stations, and industrial structures will be highly regarded.

This role will be based in our new operations centre at Sydney Olympic Park.
