At Minimbah, your leadership isn't from behind a desk, it's on the floor, in ratio, side by side with your team .
This is a hands-on role where you'll provide daily coaching, guidance, and practical support .
You'll be a familiar, trusted face for families and children , while also being the steady presence that ensures everything runs smoothly.
Think of yourself as the captain of the ship, steering the course, supporting your crew, and ensuring everyone arrives safely and smiling.You'll be responsible for :Actively supporting and guiding your team during contact hoursBuilding strong relationships with children, families, and school leaders.
Overseeing all communication with families and the school.Overseeing environment setup and ensuring engaging, inclusive programmingUplifting and training your team to build consistency and confidenceEmbedding routines and structures that create calm, predictable, and positive experiencesMaintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and qualityMinimbah is a large program with space to grow, and we're looking for a leader who's ready to grow with it.Overseeing all day-to-day operations across Before, After, and Vacation CareSupporting and coaching a structured leadership teamEmbedding strong routines, building systems, and guiding cultureDriving quality programming, compliance, and family engagementBuilding exceptional relationships with children, families, school leaders and your teamResourcing and delivering a fun, inclusive, high-quality experience for all childrenYour Team2 Full-Time Directors of Service (DOS)1 Second in Charge (2IC)A wider team of permanent and casual educatorsYour role is to coach and guide them on the floor, lead with confidence, and build strong routines, systems and team culture.
You'll play a key role in shaping a consistent and high-performing team.Service Operating HoursBefore School Care : 6 : 00am – 8 : 40amAfter School Care : 2 : 40pm – 6 : 30pmVacation Care : 6 : 00am – 6 : 30pmYou'll be onsite in both BSC and ASC - hours specified during recruitment process, with admin time scheduled outside of contact hours.This is a high-volume service that needs a leader who thrives on fast-paced, purposeful work and can bring structure, quality, and consistency.You'll Be Perfect for This Role If You're...A big kid at heart who thrives in a lively, fast-paced environmentA natural leader and coach, who communicates confidently with kids, families and principals alikeExperienced in OSHC or large early childhood settings, with strong management skillsSkilled at behaviour guidance, routine building, and staff developmentCalm, proactive, and ready to take ownership of your servicePassionate about creating meaningful and fun experiences for children every dayWhat You'll NeedA Diploma-level (or higher) ACECQA-approved qualificatione.g.
