As the HSE manager for Queensland, you will play a pivotal role in steering the development and implementation of risk-based health, safety, and environmental policies, practices, and services across the dynamic landscapes of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSEQ management systems.
- Provide leadership for compliance with regulations, conducting audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations.
- Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and identify trends for management reports.
- Oversee rehabilitation legislation, manage compensable cases, and ensure confidentiality.
- Collate and analyse statistics on injuries, occurrences, and countermeasures.
- Prepare management briefings, conduct timely audits, and devise safety training programs.
- Ensure defined Health & Safety training requirements are met through regular site visits.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with Industrial Relations & Unions
- Experience working on Projects within Residential, Defence, Health, Commercial or Complex Services upwards of $100m
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
