**About this Game-Changing Role**:
This is your opportunity to **lead clinical governance initiatives**across our diverse health services including medical centres, urgent care, optometry, and future dental services. You'll be responsible for implementing our Clinical Governance Framework, working directly with the Chief Operating Officer Health Services to enhance standards, drive improvement, and ensure excellent patient outcomes.

**What You'll Lead**:
**Clinical Excellence & Innovation**:

- Spearhead implementation of our comprehensive Clinical Governance Framework across all Health Services
- Design and evaluate **evidence-based models of care**that align with best practice standards
- Lead quality improvement initiatives that directly enhance patient experiences and outcomes
- Drive accreditation success across RACGP Standards and other regulatory requirements

**Strategic Impact**:

- Shape organisational strategy through evidence-based clinical governance and risk management
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative care pathways and service delivery models
- Champion patient-centered approaches while addressing broader population health needs
- Collaborate with Health Service managers to build a culture of continuous learning and excellence
- Mentor and guide clinical staff in best-practice approaches

**What We're Looking For**:
**Essential**:

- Tertiary qualifications in health-related discipline (nursing or general practice medicine highly desirable)
- Minimum 5 years in clinical management, quality management, or clinical governance
- Current AHPRA registration
- Proven track record implementing clinical governance frameworks in primary healthcare
- Demonstrated success leading accreditation processes and regulatory compliance

**Highly Desirable**:

- Post-graduate qualifications in health management, quality management, or clinical governance
- Advanced experience in developing innovative models of care
- Strong project management and root cause analysis capabilities
