Sydney Duty Free ('SDF') is Australian duty-free retailer specialized in Australia's health care and cosmetic products within the Australian tourism industry sector. We are looking for a competent Retail Buyer to select and purchase lines of products on behalf of our company, ensuring that it offers a variety to attract customers to drive profits.

**Main Duties**
- Identify customer preference and anticipate consumer trends
- Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc and determine the best choices
- Source new products from manufacturers according to customer preference and trends
- Comparing and selecting products based on manufacturers quality standards and customer preference
- Negotiating price and terms of agreements with suppliers to secure competitive prices and the best deal for ourcompany
- Ensure timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase
- Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget
- Create reports on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction and adjust your strategies accordingly

**Qualifications and Skills Required**
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Certificate IV or higher

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
