Are you passionate about creating meaningful change in the lives of marginalised communities? The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation (BCF) is seeking a compassionate** Chaplain Wellbeing Support Worker**to support the wellbeing of young students and make a lasting impact within the community.

Our mission is to provide assistance to address the cause and effect of homelessness and poverty faced by marginalised individuals. We succeed in achieving this through a combination of caring services like food provision, social welfare and education support.**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are currently inviting **Expressions of Interest (EOI)** for the role of **Chaplain Wellbeing Support Worker**. This position plays a vital role in promoting the mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of students, staff and the wider school community under the **National Student Wellbeing Program ('NSWP')**.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
You will be responsible for:

- Support students through one-on-one and group sessions to build resilience and emotional wellbeing.
- Foster a safe, inclusive school environment and promote positive peer relationships.
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate wellbeing programs and activities.
- Collaborate with staff, families and external services to support students' needs.
- Ensure confidentiality, maintain accurate records, and comply with child safety standards and NSWP guidelines

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Relevant qualifications in counselling, social work, youth work or a related field.
- Experience providing pastoral care or emotional support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated experience supporting students from diverse and marginalised backgrounds.
- Experience designing and delivering age-appropriate wellbeing programs and respond effectively in crisis situations.
- Strong advocacy, referral and conflict management capabilities

- Bill Crews Charitable Trust and the Exodus Foundation are separate but closely cooperating entities. Together, they deliver services and programs under the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation brand name, working to support those in need._
- All Bill Crews Foundation employees are required to have completed at least three (3) COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status will be required prior to commencing employment._
