About The Role
The
Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver
is a
Full-time
position, based at
Hume, ACT.
Reporting to the
Branch Controller,
you will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In This Role, You Will
Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers
Support daily warehouse operations, including stock placement, loading, and unloading
Operate a forklift for the best part of the role — valid forklift licence and experience required
Manage stock movements, including receiving inbound deliveries and loading customer orders for distribution, while complying with safety requirements
Accurately complete documentation and ensure proper labelling and presentation of stock
Perform data entry, respond to phone enquiries, and assist with online order processing when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse through regular general housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
Your hours are Monday to Friday 7AM to 3PM.
About You
Current forklift license with sufficient experience is essential.
Computer literacy is desirable.
Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
