Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly, coaching and developing warehouse staff, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

About the Role:

  • Lead warehouse operations to achieve peak efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Counsel and develop warehouse staff in Dispatch, picking, and inwards goods.
  • Maintain attention to detail during standard operations.
  • Set an example in daily warehousing operations, including loading and unloading goods, picking orders, replenishments, managing back-orders, invoicing, and reconciling stock levels.
  • Ensure high levels of housekeeping and maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
  • Serve as the welcoming face of the warehouse and engage stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client-focused and results-driven, with confidence and pleasantness in interacting with customers and team members across the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • A collaborative leader who is willing to get hands-on alongside the warehouse team and set an example.
  • A valid forklift license with a good driving record.
