**About Us**:
Mates Support Services is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals living with disabilities. We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Disability Support Workers to provide before and after school support for a client with Autism and behaviors of concern. If you are passionate about making a difference and have a background in similar roles, we'd love to hear from you
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide before and after school support to a client with Autism and behaviors of concern.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and engaging in activities.
- Implement behavior support strategies in accordance with the client's care plan.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the client.
- Communicate effectively with the client's family and other support workers to ensure continuity of care.
**Key Requirements**:
- Proven experience working with clients who have Autism and behaviors of concern.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage challenging behaviors.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping individuals with disabilities.

**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $32.60 - $46.05 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
- Penalty rates
**Experience**:
- Disability Support Work: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
