Our client is seeking an experienced Customs Broker to join their busy freight forwarding team.
In this role, you'll manage the end-to-end customs clearance process for a wide variety of import and export shipments, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency every step of the way.Duties & Responsibilities: Lodge import and export declarations in compliance with customs and quarantine regulations Classify goods and calculate duties, tariffs, and GST Liaise with clients, government bodies, airlines, shipping lines, and freight forwarders Advise clients on customs, quarantine, and trade compliance matters Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure timely cargo clearance Manage documentation for duty refunds, permits, and special clearances Role Requirements: Current Australian Licensed Customs Broker & Biosecurity Accredited Knowledge in entry preparation, classifying and compiling Experience using CargoWise High degree of numeracy, literacy and analytical skills Commercial focus and excellent customer service skills Adaptable, ethical and hands-on approach Ability to effectively interact and network with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments First-class communication skills - written and verbal Ability to prioritise and time-manage Attention to detail If you're a proactive broker looking for your next challenge in freight forwarding, apply now and bring your expertise to a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and great service.
