ABOUT THE ROLE
The Production Manager at MESHKI is responsible for overseeing the entire production process to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality fashion products. This role involves managing the production team, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that all production activities align with the brand's standards and strategic goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop and implement comprehensive production schedules that align with MESHKI's demand forecasts.
Coordinate all aspects of production, from raw material procurement to the delivery of finished goods.
Monitor and evaluate production performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Work closely with QC Manager to develop and enforce quality control processes to ensure all products meet MESHKI's high standards.
Develop and oversee the production budget, ensuring cost-effective manufacturing.
Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and finished products.
Optimise inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Provide regular health and safety training sessions and conduct audits.
Track and analyse key production metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve production strategies and performance.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in production management within the fashion or luxury retail industry.
Proven track record of managing efficient and high-quality production processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards and continuous improvement.
