Responsibilities
As a local PDM, you need to:
Fulfill the financial annual growth target of the related product line in the region.
Deeply involve in the local ecosystem and provide timely market insights to BD, sales, and product teams.
Provide accurate information related to competition analysis.
Ensure the product definition is highly efficient and maintains a leading position based on market analysis.
Assist customer projects from other regions when necessary.
Explore ODM service opportunities.
Cooperate with local sales and BD to ensure Quectel products are well fitted to the market, supporting sales managers to acquire key customers and projects that align with the product line.
Hunt for new accounts beyond the top 20 customers to increase opportunities.
Secure key customers, projects, and biddings, supporting the sales team to win critical customers and develop new design-ins and design-wins locally.
Provide regular training for BD, sales, and distributors.
Support local industry events (MWC, CES, Network X, Enlit, Electronica, etc.) to promote products and solutions, enhance Quectel's reputation, and conduct market surveys during events.
Perform other daily tasks as required by leadership to support revenue and gross profit contributions from the product line.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in product or project management, with hardware/software development experience preferred.
Proven ability to analyze markets, define product requirements, and develop strategies to maintain competitiveness.
Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada as needed.
