Job DescriptionTeam SummaryThe Business Partner function within the People Team at Visa acts as a trusted advisor and business partner to members of the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Island (AuNZPI) leadership team and operates as the expert on talent and organizational issues.
We are a team of commercially focused individuals that translate business objectives to talent priorities.
We are comfortable navigating challenging forces in the dynamic payments space and are able to operate in a fast-paced environment with significant change.
We work hand-in-hand with various stakeholders of the People Team for successful planning and delivery of talent programs and services to the business.What a People Business Partner does at Visa:People Business Partners work with leaders and key stakeholders to shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organization.
This includes, but is not limited to,Providing guidance and input on organizational design for a particular business unitWorking closely with COEs partners and business leaders to deliver customised and forward-looking solutions and programs to solve business issues.Working with leadership to conduct talent reviews, create succession plans and customize development plans for key talentManaging complex and difficult projects and take a consultative approach and act as a key advisor to the leadership team.Offering performance management and coaching to leaders and employees alikePartner with finance and leadership to develop and maintain workforce planningResponsibilitiesThe role will be part of the broader AuNZSP People team, reporting to the Head of People ,AuNZSP.
This role will be accountable for a portfolio of client groups as well as delivering to broader People priorities across the market.
Responsibilities include:Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda designed to attract, develop and retain the best talent in the industry.Understand business strategies and how to develop high impact human capital solutions.Have a data driven mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insights to the business.Consistently measure effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs to ensure they are delivering desired outcomes.Lead the people organization within client groups to develop and execute initiatives to become an Employer of Choice in the Technology industry.Provide daily support to managers with employee attraction, development, and retention issues which may include:Annual reviewsLeadership coachingCareer pathingAdvanced People reporting and metricsSpecial project assistanceClosely partners with HR Centers of Excellences and other PBPs to deliver superior results to the business.Serve as a role model and thought leader on Human Capital issues and coaches other PBPs in their development.Provide support for regulatory / legislative reporting and processes required in the HR domain for the respective market supported, where applicable.Why this is important to Visa:This role involves consulting with business stakeholders to enable the achievement of business objective.

Preference for experience in the Technology industry working in progressive HR modelsExperience designing and delivering programs in the following areas:Workforce PlanningTalent ManagementChange ManagementLeadership DevelopmentEmployee EngagementCultural ChangeOrganizational DesignAbility to manage medium to enterprise-wide projects/initiatives with minimal supervisionExperience in working effectively across all levels of an organizationHands on approach willing to roll up sleeves to deliver resultsSuccessful implementation of operational and strategic programs and processes across a dispersed regionAbility to assess an organization, identify gaps, and develop solutionsPossess strong influencing and interpersonal skills, honed in a demanding and high performing work environmentHave executive presence and strong communication skills to partner with senior levels of managementStrong collaboration skills within and outside of HRAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
