Reporting to the National Retail Manager, this role will lead our state Company and Franchise stores to achieve our five-year growth strategy. The role is critical to setting the benchmarks for performance in sales growth and the in-store customer experience and delivering on our brand promise.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Assess store leadership approach and provide one on one leadership coaching for success.
- Coach and train Store Sales Managers and franchise owners on managing budgets, targets, and overall strategy for each store.
- Monitor costs in the stores, sales results, and forecasts.
- Engage with the Store Sales Managers and franchise owners to support the sales growth and revenue targets for each store.
- You will lead the team across your Company stores and franchise group and ensure they are adhering to policies and procedures.
- Influence and lead the owners toward successful outcomes for their stores
- Assist leaders with recruitment and sourcing staff that are critical to the success of their teams.
- Diagnose store performance challenges and identify growth or corrective actions.
- Support the Store Business Plan process to identify future growth initiatives.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Experience leading a team and demonstrated success in Retail management
- Business development experience
- Proven abilities and experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Performance management skills and experience
- Previous experience in the Tile industry (preferred)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Natural leadership abilities
- Have high-level organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work in a collaborative team environment
