**The Opportunity**

Our Acacia Ridge manufacturing facility is looking for a **Training & Inventory Officer** in our **Supply Chain Team** team based in QLD. In this fast-paced site that handles over 500,000 tonnes of steel per year, you will have direct impact on the delivery performance of BlueScope Australian Steel Products.

We have an exciting opportunity for you You'll be responsible for running our training programmes, working closely with managers and supervisors to maintaining our training and competency registers providing key dates and guidance for training course renewals.

As the Inventory Officer, you will be responsible for the management of the stock within the warehouse in terms of accuracy and pricing. In addition to this you will be also be responsible for quality administration and SAP and WMS system data integrity. Your analytical and 'thinking-outside-of-the-box' skills will thrive in this opportunity and support the organisation with respect to inventory management, purchasing and distribution of our products.

This permanent full time Monday to Friday role includes a competitive remuneration package including our annual bonus schemes, overtime eligible and 14% superannuation. **What Will You Do?**

Whilst ensuring the safety of yourself and your co-workers, the main responsibilities include, however will not be limited to you will:

- run our BlueScope Steel Induction programmes for all our new starters
- work with our team leaders to perform training needs analysis create training plans and maintain training and assessment records
- ensure individual training plans are completed and maintain site training and competency matrixes
- maintain the Standard and critical Operating Procedures toolkits and provide day-to-day analytical support to the these processes
- coordinating inventory and stock availability in line with strategic direction
- managing stock movement including product receipting and order confirmations
- continually guide and recommend solutions when issues and new challenges arise daily

As an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, you quickly adapt and able to juggle multiple priorities at any given time, and consistently demonstrate high standards of work, you'll also have:

- tertiary qualification (or willing to obtain) in training and assessment
- experience in delivery of onboarding/induction programmes and training courses to groups
- excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport naturally across all levels
- competent computer systems and knowledge in MS Office and ability to learn new systems
- ability to work autonomously and as part of our team
- experience in inventory management, planning and supply chains
- an understanding of inventory planning systems - ERP
- a commitment to your own safety and well-being while caring for others
