Accounts Receivable and Billings Officer is primarily responsible for supporting the billings and accounts receivable function for ARQ Group's Managed Services customers. Reporting to the Finance Manager, it will also provide support to the Customer Relationship Managers responding to enquiries from both internal and external customers. Duties include processing billings in a timely manner, monthly reconciliations and accounts receivable/debt collection, and other ad hoc duties as required.

**Typical day to day duties will involve**:

- Billing and issuing of invoicesMaintaining the debtors ledger
- Accounts receivable/debt collection for a high volume of customers.
- Working with clients who are overdue to achieve manageable solutions.
- Liaise with the Account Management team when there are billing issues affecting payment.
- Reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Assist with the implementation of process changes impacting billings and accounts receivable

**Your Profile**:

- 2-3 years' experience in a similar position
- Accounting degree is highly desirable
- Demonstration of strong communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to analyse and communicate financial information
- Exposure to accounting software and other ERP software - preferably Salesforce and Financial Force
- Computer literate - knowledge of Microsoft Office required, proficient in Excel
