We are seeking a friendly volunteer to come and spend time with an elderly woman living at home in Meadowbank. She would enjoy meeting someone who also speaks Mandarin to visit her at home for a cuppa and a chat. If you would like to meet our client or discuss volunteering in your area, please apply today
Your Impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
Requirements
18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
•
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute to one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
