Guidestar Training and Professional Services (GTPS) is a registered training organisation that has been offering high-quality vocational education and training in the fields of Health and Community Services for over 13 years. Conveniently located in Footscray, next to Footscray market, with trains in walking distance, we have a fantastic work culture.

Due to the growing demands for our courses, we are seeking VET trainers for the following qualifications to join our team:
CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support

CHC43121 - Certificate IV in Disability Support

CHC43015 - Certificate IV in Ageing Support

HLT33115 - Certificate III in Health Services Assistance

CHC30121 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

CHC50121 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

CHC52015 - Diploma of Community Services

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher or equivalent
- Relevant vocational qualifications in one of the desired qualifications
- Having relevant and current working experience in the desired industry
- Evidence of continuous professional development records (in the last 6 months)
- NDIS Workers screening check and WWC check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in delivering both online and classroom-based training.
- Experience with monitoring, marking, and conducting student assessments and providing relevant feedback.
- Maintaining and reporting students' attendance and progresses records, managing administrative tasks.
- Experience with work placement arrangements including visits.
- Understand and participate in validation.
- Have excellent communication, people, and team skills.
- Having a friendly and supportive nature with students and colleagues from multicultural backgrounds
- Apart from English, additional language skills in Tagalog, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Hindi, and Mandarin, are highly regarded.

Duties will include all aspects of teaching, class preparation, student management, student assessments, student records, progress management and work placement etc.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract

**Salary**: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
