Omega Security Services are seeking a Emergency Services Officer to join our Cooper Basin team on a casual basis.

**The Position**
- Monitor and control the journey and fatigue management of vehicle movements within South Australia, Queensland, Northern Territory and remote areas of New South Wales.
- Monitor helicopter operations including HEMS.
- Maintains monitoring of protection systems such as security alarms, fire alarms, loan worker alarms and duress button alarms.
- Emergency phone response and initiation and coordination of emergency services (fire & rescue, medical & HEMS).
- Coordinate emergency responses to a variety of incidents within the Cooper basin and maintains emergency response logs, answers phone/radio calls and relates information to authorised persons.
- Operate the internal radio communications systems and maintains radio communications with security / emergency services.

**The Person**
- Certificate II Security Operations (or higher)
- Above average admin and computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Communication/Control room, Defence, Police or Emergency Services background (desirable).
- Senior first Aid certificate
- Manual driving license
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Defence, Police or Emergency Services background (highly desirable)
